[ On the morning of November 3rd, Remus Lupin, despite his fatigue and pain, slips away from one Sirius Black’s side in bed and sets everything in motion. If Sirius thought his day would be spent tucked away in bed, he’s thought very, very wrong. In fact, Remus first brings him a simple breakfast in bed— pancakes (get it?) with whipped cream and fruit, and a steaming cup of coffee Klaus generously fetched for him.
After breakfast, he will be met by Tony as well as Klaus, who drag the man to the spa (where, at this point, they probably know Tony by name, let’s be real), where they all get to enjoy a relaxing massage followed by facials. Never mind the occasional local fangirl who might catch Eglaf’s prettiest trio in the same place at once.
All the while Remus, Allison, and Lydia get to work on preparing a lunch spread accented with mimosas and lemonade, on the beach. One can’t have wizards and a witch in attendance without a little bit of flair. And when the three finally make it to the beach, Sirius will find he’s met first by Apollo and Zeus, who bound around him, and lead him to a surprise party of friends waiting down on the beach: Remus, Allison, Lydia, Hermione.
It’s nothing over the top, but it’s a nice meal that, at the end, is accented by a vanilla and raspberry cake Remus has made with the help of the girls, a single sparkler atop because a woman never tells her age as Klaus makes a point in saying.
Later that evening, Sirius will find a small, wrapped gift left on his bedside table from Remus. Inside is a picture frame, a cheeky little photo taken at the party, where Sirius is surrounded by all those in attendance, laughing at something being said. (Or the fact that Klaus has definitely tried to put a birthday tiara atop Sirius’s head). With it, a small, hand-written note:
To the moon and back. Happy Birthday. -R ]
